Kathryn and Ben

It’s 11.30pm, the dance floor is absolutely bouncing to the sounds of 90’s trance music by the incredibly awesome and talented 90’s band, we usually finish shooting around 10pm and as we step away from the dance floor something mad happens so we have to jump back in and start shooting again!

One of if not the BEST dance floor we have been a part of at a wedding, it felt more like a crazy gig than a wedding! You lot certainly know how to party! I drove home with the music still ringing in my ears and I have been buzzing about this one ever since. Let’s start from the beginning Where to begin with these two!

Kathryn and Ben decided to tie the knot at the always stunning Blake Hall in Ongar, Essex. When Kathryn got in touch with me about two year ago, I got excited by the idea’s she posed and the sort of vibe she wanted for her wedding day. That kind of relaxed, chilled fun day that most couples are after these days.

Less formality and more fun! You couldn’t wish for better subjects to capture, these two have been through some pretty testing things for their relationship, the key one that sticks out for me is during a hike (they love adventure and both lead active lives) they found themselves very much lost on a mountain and seriously thought their time was up!

Luckily they made it home but that experience brought them closer together and I’m pretty sure I remember Kathryn telling me that, that experience was what made her know for sure, Ben was the man she would marry! I just love everything about these guys and I say it a lot but it really doesn’t feel like work when you get to hang out with cool cats such as these two and their friends and family.
